Nivalis Nights Deeala: Comedy Showdown Quest Guide

Quick Answer

Help Deeala, bring Pilk Dane’s FERB rating to Enemy during the roast showdown, then return to her to report the result.

On this page

For Nivalis Nights Deeala’s Comedy Showdown, agree to help with her landlord, Pilk Dane, confront him in the roast showdown, and push his FERB relationship rating to Enemy. Then return to Deeala and report what happened. The recorded quest goal and the reported successful route agree on that three-part sequence.

The exact dialogue answers are not established here. This is a quest-specific route, not a promise that any insult will work or that the same conversation can always be restarted. Preserve an earlier save before deciding whether to accept or refuse her request.

Recognize Deeala’s Request

Deeala asks for help because her landlord is giving her trouble. The relevant quest is Comedy Showdown. Check that name and your active objective before applying relationship advice from a different character’s story.

Deeala in the Known Characters interface

Use the character record to identify Deeala; this screen does not show Comedy Showdown completion.

The recorded opening can be missed through answers that end the offer before the quest starts. Treat the initial conversation as a real decision rather than assuming the offer will reappear. A complete set of safe and unsafe dialogue choices is not available in this guide.

Complete the Three Quest Stages

  1. Consider Helping Deeala. Speak to her about the problem with Pilk Dane and proceed with her request.
  2. Showdown with Pilk Dane. Provoke negative responses during the roast until his FERB rating reaches Enemy. The quest concerns making him give up on Deeala.
  3. Tell Deeala About the Showdown. Return to her and report the result, following the active conversation objective.

The confrontation’s target is Pilk Dane’s relationship state. Increasing Deeala’s friendship without confronting the landlord does not complete that recorded objective. Likewise, finishing the confrontation is not the final reporting step: return to her once the journal asks you to explain how it went.

Do not confuse the requested negative relationship with a general rule for all characters. This particular showdown asks you to provoke the landlord; other character quests have their own goals and choices.

Use the Current Objective to Find Her

The returning-conversation objective places Deeala in Lowtown, and first-meeting reports also identify that district. That does not establish Lowtown as her permanent position through every part of the game.

The October 5 Update #3 notes also describe removing characters that blocked the way to Deeala in Mountain Town. This is a specific access fix. It does not change Comedy Showdown into a Mountain Town-only quest, identify an exact standing position, or guarantee that every missing conversation is repaired.

Follow the destination attached to your currently active objective. If the journal asks for the showdown, find Pilk Dane; if it asks you to tell Deeala the result, return to the indicated conversation with her.

Check the Result Without Assuming a Reward

A successful reported playthrough returned to Deeala after bringing Pilk Dane to Enemy and saw her heart relationship score increase. Exact numerical rewards, a guaranteed date, and an all-purpose romance threshold are not established here.

Use the journal transition and the conversation outcome to judge your progress. If the request was refused before starting or the showdown did not reach its required relationship state, repeatedly revisiting her does not prove that the final reporting conversation should already be available.
